Bloomer Heaven employs 60 people across its offices. The firm was established in 1877 and the business was incorporated into Bloomer Heaven Limited in April 2008. Our strong team forms the basis of an impressive operation that is networked with specialists in every profession associated with business and finance to give clients the broadest spectrum of skills and specialisms to meet all business demands.
Director Profiles
Managing Director – Christopher Stephen-Haynes MA, FCA, FCIE
Experience and Specialisms:
As well as maintaining a portfolio of long standing Bloomer Heaven clients, Christopher is also responsible for new business development. In recent years Christopher has developed and expanded the firm’s services to Charities and Not for Profit sector. Christopher is a member of the ICAEW assurance reporting panel and chairs the National Audit Group of CharterGroup.
Outside work:
Very much a family man Christopher devotes the majority of his spare time to his family. He is also an active member of the church that is at the centre of his local Worcestershire community.

Director – Jay Boyce BA
Experience and Specialisms:
Jay is Head of Tax Services and he and his team provide commercial and proactive advice on all aspects of taxation. He has particular expertise on the tax implications of business mergers, acquisitions and disposals. Jay also holds the Corporate Finance qualification of ICAEW which when dovetailed with his tax experience provides clients with a unique offering often only found in national practices.
Outside work:
Jay is a keen fan of football, cricket, rugby union and American sports. He is also keen on IT and can often be found building his own computers and related gadgets.

Director – Sarah Law FCA
Experience and Specialisms:
In addition to taking responsibility for a growing portfolio of clients, Sarah’s duties include business development and marketing of the firm. She has recently established a new Bloomer Heaven office in Lichfield (Market Day) and is working to bring the firm’s full range of services to businesses across Staffordshire. Sarah heads up the Business Advisory Service line, which specialises in working with and advising family owned businesses. Sarah joined Bloomer Heaven in 1988 and became a Partner in 2002.
Outside work:
Sarah enjoys travel and spending time with her family.

Director - Chris Barlow BA, FCCA
Experience and Specialisms:
Chris joined Bloomer Heaven in 1999 and was made Partner in 2006 subsequently becoming a director upon the firm’s incorporation. Chris is head of ‘Corporate’ service line which deals primarily with clients who require either an audit or independent opinion for regulatory bodies. Chris manages a portfolio of clients across a range of industrial sectors.
Alongside his corporate responsibilities Chris also specialises in healthcare, barrister and solicitor clients. He is also a member of the Technical Committee and has responsibility for practice assurance and student training.
Outside work:
In addition to being a family man with two young children, Chris is a prize-winning pianist and a keen follower of football and cricket. He is also Chapter Director of the BNI Apollo.

Director – Peter Jones FCAExperience and Specialisms:
Peter successfully combines the responsibilities of a Director with those of handling the business and financial affairs of significant local companies. Peter specialises in Audit and has a large portfolio of key Audit clients.
Peter is a keen golfer and enjoys travel.
